                                            Thank you Michael! What you describe is basically it. I use an Android tablet and an app called Zen Brush 3 which is a pretty good emulation of sumi-e ink and paper painting. The stylus I use came with the tablet. Digital art has come a long way recently with very powerful programs available for very little ($4.99 for Zen Brush 3) or free with a basic tablet of any kind.

                                                        Decided to have a go at some ink on canvas. I found an unused canvas tucked away and gave it a go. Not traditional Zen art but distillation of Zen art, perhaps. I made this for my home Zendo area.
