ARTS: 2021 May Painting & Drawing Theme: Being

Greetings, artists. That is all of you. I neglected a topic last month, letting myself get too enveloped in many things that seemed urgent (but were not).

The theme for the month of May is being. I like this word because there are so many meanings that can flow from it. Being sparks creativity. I have ideas about what to do with being for creating art, but I refuse to influence you! It is beautiful to experience what others bring to the table.

Please create and post a photo of one or more pieces of art using your own concept from being. It is fine for it to be complex and masterful. It is fine for it to be simple and created without any expertise whatsoever. Artists inspire and uplift each other. In this forum, there are no critiques, and there are no unrequested instructions. Do your thing, and let us see through your eyes (even though there is no sight).

    Gassho,

I painted this piece with still life display in my studio in memory of my mother. The paint is still wet in some spots, hence the shining areas in the image. Thanks for viewing and sharing the moments with me.

Here is a little drawing I did of a maple seed to show being-becoming.
