    ARTS: Dancing with Fireflies

    Hi Folks,

This a piece I performed using Ableton Live. Essentially music segments are created in Ableton and then you can use a device called a pad to trigger each of the segments in any order you like. And the segments can be played together or separately. So kind of like a keyboard but you trigger something that is sonically more complex. But just like a keyboard you can play segments alone, or together to form something like a chord. So it is a truly live, one time performance.

That's beautiful, Shinshi! Those kind of pads which control different musical parts seem to give a huge amount of freedom for live performance.

I dig! Love the vintage drum and key sounds.

              Very nice Shinshi.

I like using Ableton Live. There is a lot of fun ways to be creative using it.

Reminds me I should share one of my more recent pieces.
