    First live sit

I’ve been lurking around here since July 2023 and was able to sit live for the first time with Onki. It was great. My house was abnormally loud this morning so it made me laugh a bit and when I was drawn away by the noise and became aware, I just returned to the breath.

I learned Vipassana 10 years ago. Zazen is new for me. I’m grateful for today and the Treeleaf Zendo.

I’m so pleased to be a part of this community. It is validating to have a neurodiverse thread and community. I’m autistic (late diagnosed)

    Hi Michael!

It was great having you sit with us! I’m so glad you were able to!

Sitting can be a challenge when your household is active and rambunctious, and this indeed is Practice, including household noise, sitting in traffic, walking in the forest, all of it.

Return to Here. Return to Right Now.

Hope to continue seeing you, friend!
