Knowledge of names and forms is a gate of Dharma illumination; for it clears away many obstacles.
A “Dharma Gate”, is a teaching or practice that can lead to spiritual growth: some kind of positive outcome in terms of our practice. A way to approach the truth.

The Dharma may ultimately be beyond name and form, but to navigate the relative world, we still need them to point at the moon.
