The Ninety-second of 108 Gates Of Dharma Illumination

    92) The Ninety-second Gate; The wisdom pāramitā

The wisdom pāramitā is a gate of Dharma illumination; for [with it] we eradicate the darkness of ignorance, together with attachment to views, and we teach and guide foolish living beings. (Nishijima/Cross)

The realization of wisdom is a gate of realizing dharma; it cuts off the darkness of ignorance and attachment to all views, and guides foolish sentient beings. (Tanahashi)

    Gate Gatha:
    May we, together with all buddhas;
    Actualize the Wisdom Paramita
That we may eradicate the darkness of ignorance

    Reflection Prompts:

    1. Why is wisdom required to guide foolish living beings?

    2. Does the realization of wisdom remove all darkness?

    3. Write a new Gate atha.

    Capping Verse:
    The densest of fogs
    Dissipates
    In the morning sun

    1.

Wisdom is the beacon that guides the lost,
Dispelling ignorance, revealing the true cost.

    2.

With wisdom's light, the darkness has no place,
From every corner, ignorance we chase.

    3.

A new Gate Gatha, we pen with grace,
To guide the seekers in this endless race.

    ——————-//————————

A beacon in the void, the wisdom shines,
    Illuminating paths, entwining minds,
A gate that ushers in the light of truth,
To guide the lost and teach the wayward youth.

To steer the foolish from the edge of strife,
Wisdom's grace bestows the gift of life,
For in its glow, the shadows cease to be,
Revealing truths that set the spirit free.

In wisdom's grasp, the darkness cannot stay,
And even the thickest mists must fade away,
As morning sun doth pierce the fog of night,
The wisdom pāramitā brings forth light.
