Not being foolish is a gate of Dharma illumination; for it stops the killing of living things.

By “Dharma Gate”, We mean a teaching or practice that can lead to spiritual growth: some kind of positive outcome in terms of our practice. A way to approach the truth.

Even if our actions can not immediately aid another, they can do so at a later date through a connection we may not even perceive.
So we should endeavor to remove our actions from the darkness of ignorance, so that they may light the path for another.
