    90/108 Gates of Dharma Illumination

    The Ninetieth Gate

    The diligence pāramitā is a gate of Dharma illumination; for [withit] we completely attain all good dharmas, and we teach and guide lazy living beings..

    Diligence pāramitā :

    Desirable outcomes do not come
    From all-of-a-sudden decisions.
    Today you can't do what you did not do yesterday or the day before;
    You can only do today's part today
    And do it again tomorrow. Step by step
    You will come to your destination.

    Gassho,
    Nengei
    Sat today. LAH.

    Please excuse any indication that I am trying to teach anything. I am a priest in training and have no qualifications or credentials to teach Zen practice or the Dharma.

      Love it! How is this boy so wise beyond his years? I'm so humbled. Thank you for sharing.
