Hello, all. Hope you are all well, wherever you are.
I wanted to offer a reminder about this month's Fusatsu ceremony, which is scheduled for this coming Sunday. How wonderful that we can come together and be reminded of our vows, the Precepts, our continuous efforts to live between vow and atonement and the refuge we can find in Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.
To keep alive this tradition that was put in place by the Buddha himself, each of us is needed, since each of us is sangha! On Friday, for zazenkai we will have our annual Nehan ceremony, which commemorates the World Honored One's entering into Parinirvana. How fitting then, to spend the weekend giving special attention to how the Precepts guide our efforts to realize the Buddha Way.
Come as you are, you are all welcome. Please check the top post for all the details about this special occasion.
