Hi Folks,
Please see the calendar for the correct time in you location. This month we will go through all of the various steps that you will need to know in order to preform the Oryoki choreography.
So we will cover the unwrapping of the bowls, the serving of the food - both the initial serving and for serving seconds, then moving on to the cleaning of the bowls and utensils, and then the final wrapping of the bowls. We briefly touched on the last step during the last session.
You won't need any food for this month, but please bring all of your materials including the containers that you will use when we introduce the actual food.
We will not do the chanting this month.
Sorry about any confusion regarding the first session. Often a few wrinkles to iron out in a new project.
I have posted a couple of new videos. A general welcome and more importantly, a new video that revisits how to wrap the bowls so you are ready to go on Sunday.
