[EcoDharma] Sharing a little microsite I made about microswaps for the environment.

    Hi everyone,

Hopefully its ok to share this here, as it seems to be in the right place and matches our sangha's way of looking at engagement, doing the little things, as well as the big, where we can. I put together a small evidence based microsite that aims to weigh up some of the most effective, but easiest actions one can take for the environment, trying to find the sweet spot between the impact of changes, and the ease.

The idea came after stumbling on one surprising statistic, so I did a bit of digging and tried to find other similar swaps that might move the needle, and my best to research it to make sure its backed by science.

Tiny lifestyle swaps, huge climate impact. Data backed actions ranked by ease. Pick one, see the CO₂ you’ll save, spread the word!

Any feedback would be very welcome (this is the first place I have shared it, a bit nervously!). And if anyone feels moved to pass it along I would be very grateful!

    Thank you all,
    Gassho,
    Rob

          Very nice. Well done RobO

Twenty years ago my family started having meatless Mondays explicitly because of the ecological footprint. Meatless days slowly expanded to the point that, while not vegetarian, we are significantly meat reduced. Five years ago my wife and I decided to cut beef completely from our diet, again the primary motivation was the ecological footprint. As you say, it is a relatively easy modification that has a significant positive impact.
