Hi all
One of the things I struggle with most when it comes to the market driven, consumer driven, materialist driven ecological crisis is trying to envision an alternative. I’ve talked about this in other threads here during our readings.
I’ve become a big fan of Robin Wall Kimmerer and just finished her new book “The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World” where she paints an alternative way of life based on a gift economy and reciprocity. Heavily leaning into Indigenous knowledge. I recommend it to others here.
