[Ecodharma] Course “Connecting for Climate Change Action”

Hi All

I wanted to share with you a course I just completed called “Connecting for Climate Change Action” that I think may be of interest here. The basic message of the course is how we might consider both Indigenous Knowledge and Western Science for addressing climate change. It is a course run by a Canadian university so in this case Indigenous primarily means First Nations and Inuit peoples.

For me the main value was seeing opportunities for the paradigm shift we need away from BAU thinking. For those of you have read Robin Wall Kimmer’s books there will be some familiarity to the themes.

The course is free and online. The curriculum takes 10 weeks to complete and about 3 hours per week. I recommend it.

Just bouncing this thread as I just started the course and it is very very good and hugely recommended.

Although the starting date on this link is med-September, due to technical delays it has only just started:

It is being presented from the home city of our very our Onki, in London, Ontario, and features teachings from Canadian First Nations people as well as western scientists.
