[Ecodharma] Ecosattva Training 2023/2024

Dear all

We are planning on undertaking the Ecosattva training at One Earth Sangha, beginning in January 2024. This will involve monthly online meetings (and we can discuss when that will be but it will almost certainly be Saturday on Sunday as I imagine most people work during the week) and optional joining of the monthly One Earth Sangha Ecosattva meetings (listed here, beginning 22 October 2023 and then the second Sunday of each month).

The registration costs $150 per person but there is a 25% discount for being part of a group. One Earth Sangha also say that people can register at a reduced rate, or even free, if necessary, but we hope to cover all of our costs from here with several people kindly offering to help with that.

Registration opens on 21 September, and we should probably be ready for the first gathering on Sunday 22 October. I will post a reminder when registration is open.

Thank you, both! I just registered too, and am looking forward to the journey ahead.

Even thought we will not start meeting as a group until January, I think that we are still allowed to attend the monthly One Earth Sangha gatherings as soon as they begin but I will check on that, and post reminders well before each monthly gathering.

Also, if it is okay, I plan on adding everyone's email to a list so that we can send and respond to group messages. Is everyone good with that? We can otherwise do it at Treeleaf but the messenger client here is much more limited that external email in terms of being able to add images and attachments.

I am also going to check with Jundo about creating an offsite space for our discussions.

I am good with whatever is best for all. As you know i will be traveling for the next month but often have access to internet. I am assuming they will notify us individually of monthly meeting?

Check your emails; One Earth needs to hear from ONE of us about whether our group would be negatively affected if they delay rollout for a couple of weeks. Of course, we aren't doing it yet anyway, so I would think no problem. Anyway, I vote to let Kokuu reply for our group.
