I wrote the following on Friday but I was hesitant to share it. I hope it's ok

When things are seen as separate in the Buddha’s teachings, there is Greece and Turkey, there is Russia and the West, there is Cyprus and Ukraine in the middle, there are soldiers and simple citizens, there is war and peace, there is life and there is death.

When the myriad things are realized as each without an individual self, there is no Greece, no Turkey, no Russia, no West, no Cyprus, no Ukraine, no war, no peace, no life and no death.

In the Buddha Way, we must leap clear of and right through both the view of fullness and the view of lack; thus, there are again Greece and Turkey, Russia and the West, Cyprus and Ukraine, war and peace, life and death.

Yet even so, sometimes we lose the fight even though we want peace, sometimes good people die even if they fight for the right reasons.

                  Here goes...

When things are seen as separate in the Buddha’s teachings, there are plants and herbs to pick, meals to be prepared and cooked, there is hunger and there is eating to address the hunger, there are humans and there are plants who stand apart.

When the myriad things are realized as each without an individual self, there is no food, no eating and no hunger, no plants and no humans, no sentient beings and no non-sentient beings.

In the Buddha Way, we must leap clear of and right through both the view of fullness and the view of lack; thus there are again hunger and eating, food and no food, plants and humans.

Yet even so, sometimes our cooking is bad to our regret and disappointment, and insects make other uses of plants even though we wish it were not so.

Buddha warned already for this kind of quotes. He once said : "Do not believe all my quotes on Facebook".

When things are seen as separate in the Buddha’s teachings, there is a tree with it's roots, a trunk, many branches, twigs and countless leaves.

When the myriad things are realized as each without an individual self, there is no tree, no roots, there is no trunk, no branches, no twigs and no leaves.

In the Buddha Way, we must leap clear of and right through both the view of fullness and the view of lack; thus there are again the tree with it's roots, a trunk, many branches, twigs and countless leaves.

Yet even so, sometimes the tree is full of beautiful flowers and fruits, full of life, and at other times it is struck by lightning and covered in fire.

P.S: Catching up on the reading!

I've been here long enough to know someone else has already used this one, but here goes anyway:

"When things are seen as separate in the Buddha's teachings, there is the guitar, there is the song, there is the player plucking the strings, there is the amp, the pedals...

When the myriad things are realized as each without an individual self, there is no guitar, no amp, no pedals, no player and no song to play.

In the Buddha Way, we must leap clear of and right through both the view of fullness and the view of lack; thus there are again guitar and player, amp, pedals and song to be played.

Yet sometimes we miss a note even though we know the song, sometimes we break a string in the middle of a solo."
