I rather asked John to start with films/documentaries on a more Zenny theme, in light of what we non-do around this place ... then maybe expand out somewhere down the road to some other films.

Hi Sunyata,

Sorry to confuse you. Our movie club is set to run on an every other month cycle. The September/October film is "How To Cook Your Life". The November/December film will be announced November 1st. Hope this helps

Have you seen Amongst White Clouds ? It' s a documentary about zen/chan hermits living in the forest mountains somewhere in China.

Hi Marek,

There isn't a 2012 list. We had such a good response with so many wonderful suggestions last year that we have a list which will last for a while. If it ever dwindles down to a mere few we can have another film suggestion drive(similar to this thread). Suggestions are welcome anytime, as everyone is more than welcome to pm me, post them here, there, or anywhere throught the forums!

This looks like a nice film. In fact it is already on the list courtesy of my friend Ann who suggested it awhile back
