    How do I delete a post?

    Click the check box for the post, then find the little symbol that looks like a pencil on paper, and there is delete post in the drop box.

      Hello Bob,
      If you cannot see those boxes and icons Jundo describes (I think they are forum moderator specific?)
      you can also click the "Edit" button below your post and in the editor click on "Delete".

          I have checked with the configuration of the forum.
          We have not set a time limit to delete posts and deleting own posts is allowed.

          There is an exemption, that you cannot delete the initial post of a new topic, because that would make the whole topic disappear (with all eventual posts of others).

          Please send me a personal message with the post in question, so I can check what's not working or delete it.

            You can erase the content as an "edit," yes? Then the post remains, but is pretty much blank.

              Yes, it is just that the forum identifies a thread through the first posting and its headline (thread title).
              So even if the post body is empty, it needs to stay for the thread to continue existing.
