Re: SIT-A-LONG with JUNDO: THE GOOD FIGHT

Thank you Jundo Sensei. This was a great talk! As a Buddhist, being a pushover is a trap we can easily fall into(i know i have). Its great to hear of a way to follow the path yet have the right frame of mind(of no mind of course) to stand up when necessary. I will get a lot of mileage out of this teaching!

Thanks Jundo. Definitely difficult to do. I'll keep trying. It can feel so personal sometimes. Good practice.

Please take my words with a big grain of salt. I know nothing. Wisdom is only found in our whole-hearted practice together.

I have a lot to learn; take anything I say that sounds like teaching with a grain of salt.

Wonderful timing that this should show up. Yesterday I left work frustrated. I've been asked by my management to take control of a team and help them become more organized. After observing them for a few weeks I've started to make suggestions of changes that could happen hoping to solicit some feedback. Yesterday I got pushback. Basically the team is happy the way things are and I got no support at all. Clearly not MLK or Dali Lama level conflict but this talk reminded me to not engage in anger.
