Thank you all for your practice this morning (or night, for Gooey, I believe ) ! It is always great to be able to start off the week together, this way. Thank you for supporting my practice!
Thank you all for starting the week together! As always, lovely to sit zazen at dawn with you all (though for some it's late at night, right? )
It is always appreciated!!
For me, this is the most consistent and irrevocable aspect of our sangha. It brings me such joy to see you, and the others, some of whom I've sat with for some years now, all doing this thing together.
Thank you for mentioning.
It is such an important part of Treeleaf to me.
Sitting every morning (missing only a very few) together, some already for years. Some drifted away, others joined and are a new pillar for our practice together.
Seishin who is keeping us all together on Insight Timer, for more than 6 years already? sitting together every day, who I have not talked many words with but consider my close Sangha friend.
Deep bows to all of you not named here, those being a stable core and those joining here and there, drifting in an out over the years, being in no way less important.
Thank you for supporting each other.
Deep bows,
Kotei sat(with you) today.
Hello, all.
I just wanted to really express gratitude for all of you attending this sit, who so consistently show up every morning (at least it's morning here in Europe) to sit zazen together. It's wonderful to see the same faces ( well, mostly backs ) every day, as we come and go freely yet we end up sitting together for longer or shorter periods. Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting mine and everyone else's practice!
Bion - yes, I think I noticed you doing Kinhin as I was leaving. I keep forgetting to note people's names in the Zoom session but did notice someone standing. Nice to share this space.
After dealing with a particularly hard (and ongoing) situation at work today, I was especially grateful to share this space with some of you today. Even though I know when we sit we are always together, it's nice to get the reminder of that through the computer screen. Thank you.
Gassho,

Absolutely! It is why we get together and not just sit on our own. Thank you for choosing to be there and sitting together. I believe you were finishing right as I got up for Kinhin, right?[emoji1]
Thank you for being this for me, too.
Gassho,
Kotei sat/lah today.

thank you for joining us.
Among all the scheduled sittings you can find in the calendar, this one is probably closest to what is happening in the FSR, the unscheduled "just come and sit" one.
We decided to keep a somewhat flexible beginning time and sit for an individual time - some of us sit together nearly every day in this slot and this way enabled us doing so.
I was nervous in the beginning, too - I agree that its a nice way of testing it out and even getting comfortable with the idea of joining fixed time sittings, where everyone starts and end together with bells and bows.
Looking forward to sitting together,
Gassho,

Hi friends, thank you for this space! I have been nervous about joining a sitting but gave it a go today. I am hoping to settle into some regular times to join in the SSR so today was a good way to test it out. Maybe I will see some of you in there soon - but also one of the many things Treeleaf is great at is really fostering that feeling of sitting alongside others even when it's not in real time.
