Seeking out busy, noisy place to practice occasionally as recommended, but don't want to draw too much attention.1

I am a novice priest in training so please take my comments with a pinch of salt.
Ah, the beach is one of my favourite places, that shoreline in your photo looks lovely, I can almost imagine the sound of waves crashing.
It may feel easier to sit in a quiet, calm, tidy place. It's also good to sit in your garage, the toilet, a railway station, the dentist's waiting room, a hospital bed. In fact Treeleaf has members who live and practice in countries who are at war.
Your practice, what happens between the ears, is more important than location.

— A Quiet Room. Most days, we’d best sit Zazen in a quiet room, with little noise and few distractions. The reason is simply that a peaceful, still, quiet environment helps us allow the mind to become peaceful, still and quiet, with thoughts and emotions drifting away as the mind settles down.
