    Gandavyuha Sutra

    Omoi kicked me out of sleep this morning with ...

    and I wonder if the sutra is available online somewhere; I googled but only got to references and one book from Thomas Cleary (whom I personally not value as much from other books, so I wonder if his "Entry into the Realm of Reality" is recommended ?) Anyone ?

    Thank you

    Gandavyuha Sutra

    I think it's the last chapter of the Flower Garland Sutra. I don't know if it's available online. I just stole the quote!

    Gassho,
    Pontus
    In a spring outside time, flowers bloom on a withered tree;
    you ride a jade elephant backwards, chasing the winged dragon-deer;
    now as you hide far beyond innumerable peaks--
    the white moon, a cool breeze, the dawn of a fortunate day

      Maybe this works on Google: "Sudhana's miraculous journey in the temple of the Ta pho", by Ernst Steinkellner.

        Gandavyuha Sutra

        Here's a non-Cleary translation!

        I think it's chapter 39, but I don't have the time to check now.

        Gassho,
        Pontus

          It's a pretty light read. Only about 1600 pages or so :mrgreen: :shock:
          Thanks,
