Re: The Noble Eightfold Path
Hi Shinkai,
The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh has a section (eight chapters) on the eightfold path.

Re: The Noble Eightfold Path
Hey Al,
Almost any and every book on basic Buddhism will cover the Noble Eightfold Path because it is ... well, the foundation of Buddhism. The question then becomes, as you ask, more which interpretation of the Noble Eightfold Path you wish to examine. Are you thinking of looking from a particularly "Zen Buddhist" perspective, or a more "Theravadan" perspective, or historical perspective, etc. All the same, but each with its own flavor.
From a specifically Zen Buddhist perspective, this essay has been around for awhile and is often mentioned (I will try to reread it, which I have not in awhile, but I recall it as good) ...

Even I covered the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path recently (here is the introduction to the series of talks, which continued for a couple of weeks) ...

Apart from that, you probably want to make a historical study of the development of all Buddhist Philosophy, because the 'Four Noble Truths' and 'Eightfold Path' cannot be separated from the entire body of Buddhist history and evolution.

The Noble Eightfold Path
Does anyone have any book, article or website recommendations exploring the noble eightfold path from a Zen perspective?
I already own The Noble Eightfold Path by Bhikku Bodhi and several other books on the subject written by Theravada teachers or from a traditional Theravada perspective. These are great books. Just curious to read anything from a Zen viewpoint.Tags: None
