Seeking Helpers: Looking for 'Tea House' Hosts at Treeleaf

    Dear All,

We are looking for volunteers willing to host weekly, bi-weekly or monthly 'Tea Houses' at Treeleaf in our Zoom meeting room.

Informal, relaxed gatherings to chat, drink some tea and get to know other members.

We would prefer long term members who have been here for awhile, and can commit to keep their Tea House going on a regular basis. We would like to space the Tea Houses time-wise. Otherwise, the requirements are very few and informal. Tea House is just a time for friends to get together and chat, just like any friends gathering for a coffee or tea. There are no formalities, although we do suggest 5 minutes of Zazen at the start. The host should be good at maintaining a friendly and "low key" atmosphere, making everyone feel welcome, easy and relaxed. Otherwise, there is really nothing too it but enjoying yourself too, making or deepening friendships and drinking tea (or any soft beverage of your choice.

If you are interested, please PM Jundo.
