Those are lovely KellyLM! My sister and wife are both painters and are really talented. I can barely make stick figure so always admire folks that can draw and paint.

Somewhat inspired by sumi-e, I picked up a few good watercolor brushes and decided to try my hand at watercolor again (I haven't had luck with watercolor recently). I don't have sumi-e stuff but I did have watercolors lying around here already.

    The pothos is my favorite.

    Oh yes.

Also, DS-9 ... what a great series when watched in episode order start to the end. Voyager and Enterprise also hold their own.

The recent new series also have their ups and downs, but generally superb.

You have a whole universe awaiting.

Trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible ...

On Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard, Worf is now a Zazening Zenny ...

That's right, Worf is now really into meditation and decaffeinated hot beverages, and when I talked to [actor Michael] Dorn in the lead-up to the season 3 premiere, he told me the idea to give his character this backstory came from him. "I had written a screenplay or pilot where it was a spin-off of the Worf character," he said. "And part of that was he has gone back to this planet, like a martial arts place, and they taught him about meditation and what is the mark of a true warrior. And he has really gone further in that realm, because it's more in keeping with who he is and his journey." ... "I told the producers that, 'Yeah, he still is very dangerous, but he has tempered that with a wisdom that his meditation and his teachings has kind of added to who he is.' And they were very good with that," Dorn said.

... [But] even though his hair has gone white and he preaches pacifism, he's still the same old Worf. ... He will absolutely slice your head off if necessary but he really doesn’t want to. Worf has, in a galaxy of chaos, found a calm center for himself.

Raffi: Jean-Luc, you’re never gonna believe this, but this Klingon? He’s been meditating.

Worf: The most advantageous battle stance is being one within oneself.

    Riker: Woah. Seriously?

    Worf: I just said it.
I am Worf, son of Mogh, House of Martok, son of Sergei, House of Rozhenko, Bane to the Duras Family, slayer of Gowron. I have made some chamomile tea. Do you take sugar?

This is a little nerdy project I'm working on - I had to have help with the translation especially, and I'm definitely going to revisit this and practice the writing to make something nice out of it, but I can't resist sharing it now!

Avoid harm (do no harm) - Tor'uh ri klaya
    Do good - Tor'uh rom
Do good for all beings - Tor'uh rom na'ek'hasu
