    [HealthDharma] Another small tip...

For those of us with neurological issues, another thing that can be distracting is our eyes. Folks with, say, MS, or Parkinson's, or some other ailments sometimes have a hard time keeping our eyes still. It's a weird feeling! It can also make Zazen a little tougher.
    My tips ...
    1) just close 'em if you need to.
    2) try taking off your glasses. I've found that when my eyes aren't trying to focus, they Bob around much less. (Or maybe, without lenses, they're trying harder? I dunno. Works for me ).
3)Instead of down, look straight ahead. I find that easier than down, for some reason. It looks a bit odd, but, who cares? If it works, it works!
Maybe others have their own ideas. I'd love to hear them!

    Sat today.

I'm still just starting to learn. I'm not a teacher. Please don't take anything I say too seriously. I already take myself too seriously!

Thank you, Ankai. I also find it easier to look straight ahead; when I look down I tend to get sleepy.
