    The 76th of 108 Gates Of Dharma Illumination

    The Seventy-sixth Gate:
    Read the following, place it in your heart and sleep on it. Then, tomorrow, live it until evening when you can leave a brief comment on what you may have received during the process.


    Right discrimination is a gate of Dharma illumination; for [with it] we eliminate all discrimination and lack of discrimination.

    A “Dharma Gate” is a teaching or practice that can lead to spiritual growth: some kind of positive outcome in terms of our practice. A way to approach the truth.

    Koan:
    As we can all see, systemic discrimination is overtly thriving in our polarized society. This problem is so big and multifaceted, We sometimes despair as to how can we enter such an opaque and deep-rooted problem. Where is the entry point? Where is the Gate? How can Zen Practice help?



    Most note worthy replies:
    Right discrimination refers to the ability to distinguish between what is skillful and unskillful, beneficial and harmful, true and false. By cultivating this ability, we can eliminate all forms of discrimination. This gate helps us see things as they truly are, without being swayed by our own biases or prejudices.

    Inseparable
    Yet distinct
    Not one and not two
