        Hi All,

The floor is open for discussion on this film. Let me start by giving a short review.

My wife and I decided to turn it off after about a 3rd of the way through this film. We felt that there was just too much rapid hopping from scene/life to scene/life to make for comfortable viewing. This amount of information felt rather emotionally jumbling. We would rather watch a film which focuses on following a fewer number people but with more consistency. Quality over quantity. This way it is easier to develop a connection with those who's lives we encounter over the corse of their 24hrs. I understand, and can appreciate the bigger idea of what the makers vision was here, but to us it just didn't vibe. I'd greatly enjoy to here what others picked up on which we may have missed

          Hi,

Just watched this movie at the weekend and i found it raw, honest, beautiful, and very intresting all rolled into one. I found it amazing how it captured so many different cultures and although different it really showed how we are all the same. I found the ordinary everyday lives of people so intresting because i could relate to it. Different people will have different moments that stand out in the film. My stand out moments were the guy cycling across the world that had been cycling non stop for the last 9 years and how he got emotional about a fly in his tea in india in the way the size of the fly was the same as the flies back home and instead of reacting in disgust to the fly, he felt emotional! As fugen says, "its all good practice." the visuals were stunning at times and i found that ridley scott effortlessly put all of this together which must have been a huge task. Oh and the guy at the start was really funny that was letting us know what day it is in his own special way! I do reccomend u watch this especially for how unique it is. Happy viewing !

I loved it from start to closing credits..... I have already watched it three times, and every time I see (and feel) different things, I recommended it to everyone who wanted to hear me talking about it...I know that it seems to be no connection between every story/life.....but in the end, as human beings, everything is connected, feelings, fears, joys, all in the same planet...... and, in the end, it is a collection of videos sent from "real" people, as you and me, so, it can´t be more "real" than that
            Thank you for your practice
