I like the idea of zazen as a laboratory for daily life.. and i love this expression: flowering on the cushion.

Thank you, Kokuu. Oh, not trying to force the flower to bloom—what a helpful point! It brought to mind another flower. Each moment on the cushion (and every other moment), Buddha is holding up that flower.
